That's why I think Derrick is a clear #3 on the list of all time greats. Any twist that dethrones the HOH (who is your only real competition to win the game left) before eviction and sends them straight out the door leaving you with three players who are easy to beat and plan to take you to the end. Rewind was one of many twists that helped Derrick. He was also very cocky and even if he wrongly thought Caleb was the bigger threat to win, he may still bring him to the end regardless because Frankie thought he could beat anyone left. Frankie could have won more comps and wised up about taking Derrick. At that point with Caleb had no other F2 plans and Cody/Victoria were always planning on taking Derrick to the end, so Derrick pretty much had F2 locked up with the jury votes locked up too. Losing Frankie at F5 though pretty much gave him a 100% chance to win. I still think Derrick has at least a 75-80% chance to take home the grand prize. And what happens in general for the remainder of the game if Frankie were there instead of Victoria. Some of it depends on who is on the block at F4 post-veto. Derrick had done a great job of convincing them he was less of a threat than them, so there is a strong chance he gets brought along to F2. Derrick had everyone so hoodwinked that they were all considering taking him to the end, although Frankie and Caleb had a F2 deal and were also considering taking each other. I am not saying Derrick would lose without it. Team America, BotB and his allies winning HoH all weeks but one, an overall weak cast (then again Tyler had pretty weak competition and a similar situation where his allies won all comps pretty much after the jury phase, yet he was unable to seal the deal, so I still give Derrick props) and of course his main competition being fucked by the rewind. He had a lot of things go his way that season. That really helped Derrick a lot and people tend to ignore this little tidbit. Frankie won veto and kept it to himself, so nominees stayed the same. Its hard to say really. In the second part, it was Derrick winning HoH and putting up Christine and Victoria as nominees.
